Shelburne Farms uses a lottery system to fill their summer camps. Typically the registration is due around the 3rd week in February and families are notified in mid March.
They offer a wide range of camps:
- Adventures Camp (ages 3-6) 1/2 and full day programs
- Discovery Camp (ages 6-8 and 7-10)
- Farm Camp (ages 6-8 and 7-10)
- Farm To Pizza Camp (ages 9-12)
- Beyond the Barn (overnight ages 10-14)
- Farmyard Stewards in Training (ages 15-17)

The zoo has a collection of over 1,000 animals from some 200 species.
Water Park - Amazoo Yoplait Water Park that includes a wave pool, lazy river for tubing, and water game basin.
Amusements - free activities such as jungle ball training camp, bumper cars, a Ferris wheel, and a small train. The rest areas, set up like small train station platforms, allow visitors to relax while comfortably sheltered from the sun.

This educational camp will provide children with a foundation for teaching and encouraging others
how to maintain healthy relationships, proper treatment, as well as respect for the animal
world. Participants provide their own lunches and snacks. Enrollment is limited to 12 participants.

This camp is for kids who LOVE animals! The program includes walking, and learning to train dogs, being an Adoption Ambassador for and socializing with Human Society's shelter animals, playing interactive games with the animals, and doing crafts. Additionally they will hear presentations by area experts such as a veterinarian, dog trainer, pet groomer, and a police officer & K-9 partner.

This half day camp (8:00-12:00) is designed for kids ages 9-12 who have a genuine interest in the natural world. This exploratory camp will cover topics such as leave-no-trace hiking, nature journaling, active conservation & trail building, wildlife management, as well as nature education of plants, animals, geology and more! $115 Camp Fee. Limit 20.
