About the instructor: Kate Lanxner, the instructor, is a Vermont resident of 17 years, who spent the last five years in Geneva, Switzerland, in the French-speaking part. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia. She participated in an international printmaking studio in Paris, France in the 1980’s. Children's Art Classes.
Watercolor, pencil, charcoal etc. Classes focus on drawing and painting and creativity in general. Subjects range from book illustrations to nature and our surroundings. Snacks are supplied. At least one art piece gets framed, and there are a lot of pictures coming home with the kids!

Located in the Eastern View Building in South Burlington, this unique foundation offfers a wide range of classes for both parents and children regardless of financial situation. Many classes are "drop-in" and cost between $5-10/each. Call for more information.
