Come in costume and swashbuckle your way back to the era of discovery and exploration – enjoy exciting, pirate-themed activities and live performances with guest artists. Build your maritime skills, orienteer your way around the museum grounds on a treasure hunt, and meet some colorful characters from the past! Kids get creative with dramatic play, sing-alongs, and make-and-take crafts for the whole family.

Boats! A celebration of clean, green, sustainable fun! For everyone who enjoys exploring the lake in a canoe, kayak, sailboat, rowboat – or wants to try it out. Demonstrations of kayaking skills, tips on favorite places to paddle, on-water try-outs of traditional and innovative watercraft.
