Shelburne Farms uses a lottery system to fill their summer camps. Typically the registration is due around the 3rd week in February and families are notified in mid March.

Camp is taught by local elementary school teachers and Education Majors. There are a total of 45-50 campers who work with the staff of seven teachers (7:1 student/teacher ratio)

The North Branch Nature Center is a 28 Acre reserve along the north branch of the Winooski river. They offer a pre-school discovery program (ages 3-5) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Additionally they have an extensive offering of nature focused summer camp programs for kids ages 3-18. Camps include:

Camp Greylock is a traditional day camp run by the Greater Burlington YMCA at the Kingsland Bay State Park on Lake Champlain in Ferisburgh Vermont. Champ Camp is a State licensed school age child care / day camp program for children entering grades K-5 in the fall. Activities will include arts and crafts, swimming, recreational games, athletic activities, music, nature walks, special events and weekly field trips.
