Shelburne Farms uses a lottery system to fill their summer camps. Typically the registration is due around the 3rd week in February and families are notified in mid March.

They offer a wide range of camps:

July 7-11, 2008; 9-4 daily

Camp is taught by local elementary school teachers and Education Majors. There are a total of 45-50 campers who work with the staff of seven teachers (7:1 student/teacher ratio)

Children participate in field excursions and walks which explore the natural world from an environmental perspective. Check out the daily schedule here.

The North Branch Nature Center is a 28 Acre reserve along the north branch of the Winooski river. They offer a pre-school discovery program (ages 3-5) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
