North Beach is located on the shore of Lake Champlain next to the Burlington Bike Path. Amenities include a large sandy beach, grassy picnic area with grills and picnic tables, a full service snack bar open daily 11am-6pm, rest rooms and foot showers. Lifeguard on duty to August 22nd and weekends until Labor Day.
North Beach Picnic Pavillion can accomodate groups of up to 70-80 for parties, barbeques and meetings.

With a 1375-acre surface area, Carmi is the fourth largest natural lake entirely within Vermont. It is 7.5 miles around, averaging about 20 feet in depth, and is 33 feet at its deepest point. Green River Reservoir became a state park in March 1999 when 5110 acres were purchased from the Morrisville Water and Light Department. The park will remain in its wild and undeveloped condition, with low-impact, compatible recreational use allowed on and around the Reservoir.
