The Flynn Center plays an important role in our community by offering a full range of cultural and educational experiences for visitors of all ages. These are just some of the programs at the Flynn:
- The Flynn MainStage Series - Broadway, theater, dance and family performaces
- The Student Matinee Series for K-12
- FlynnArts - a year-round program of performance arts classes in dance, theater, and music for kids, teens and adults

Youth Ensemble
The Burlington Taiko Youth Ensemble have performed at many diverse community venues—from Girl Scout meetings to sold-out houses at the Flynn Theatre. Besides dazzling audiences with their drumming precision, they serve as prime examples of what years of hard work, a positive attitude, mental and physical discipline, and team-building can do for the children and youth of Vermont.

Contois Music offers both private and group lessons for kids ages K-12. They have piano, guitar, bass, vocal, and drum lessons. Be sure to check out their new band performance class. They are also an authorized Yamaha music product dealer.

The new Rock/Blues Combo introduces students to simpler forms with an emphasis on melody, harmony, and rhythm. All combos consist of bass, percussion, piano, guitar, and horns and perform in FlynnSpace in December; some also perform at First Night Burlington on New Year's Eve
