Shelburne Farms uses a lottery system to fill their summer camps. Typically the registration is due around the 3rd week in February and families are notified in mid March.

They offer a wide range of camps:

A traditional summer camp for boys and girls ages 8-15. Family owned and run, the camp provides a supportive and safe community environment that allows them to express themselves and rise to the challenges of outdoor adventure.

Activities include canoeing, sailing and kayaking on a private waterfront; and hiking, field sports, arts, crafts, woodworking and photography.

Adventurous Tuesdays will incorporate different fun-filled day trips that will change each session. Challenging activities and a Thursday evening camp out at MBS round out the week. The camp community is made up of 90 campers, 45 staff, and 15 counselors-in-training. Typically, campers come from at least twenty states and ten countries. Camper ages range from 9 to 15 years. Campers live in cabin groups of eight campers, three staff, and often a second year staff trainee.
