The Allen Brook Nature Trail is a short 0.5 mile loop trail (paved) that passes through small stand of woods on the Williston Central School property. The trail crosses over the Allen Brook, where there is a boardwalk and observation platform for nature study or quiet contemplation. There are two playgrounds on the school property. One is specifically for younger children.

The Burlington Skate Park is located on Lake Street, just north of Waterfront Park. This facility, for skateboarders, bikers and in-line skaters offers rails and ramps, boxes, a half bowl and half pipe. Adjoining the park to the north is a lighted in-line hockey rink which is flooded in the winter for ice skating.
