CSSU Buccaneers football program is operated for the benefit of the youth of the Chittenden South Supervisory Union school district (the towns of Hinesburg, Charlotte, Shelburne, Williston, and St. George). There are teams for:
- Grades 7/8 - Tackle
- Grades 5/6 - Tackle
- Grade 3/4 - Flag
Season runs from August to November.

The Field House at the Shelburne Athletic Club is a multi-sport indoor and outdoor athletic campus.

- two 36 x 74 yard european style (non-boarded) omnigrass fields

The award-winning C.A.T.C.H. 22, the acronym for Community Action Toward Children's Help, is a non-profit Association that brings football to towns and school districts without a football program. The 22 is for the twenty two players on the field at one time, eleven on offense and defense for each team.

Entering its 29th year, this camp program hosts over 800 enthusiastic, youth, junior high, JV and Varsity football players from VT, MA, NH, and NY. Their goal is to improve the players game by learning, having fun and being safe.

This is a non-contact camp with a focus on teaching the players the fundamentals of football in a fun and positive environment. Camp is held for 5 days usually during mid-July.
