My family loves this fair. We first went last year as an alternative to the too large (for a toddler) Champlain Valley Fair, and went again this year. The fair is small enough to not have to worry about getting lost, has just enough rides for a two-and-a-half year old, and is fairly affordable- little ones are free, I think it was three and under. The kids area with games (like giant bubble makers) and farm animals to pet was included in...more

We have gone to this fair for a few years. We always go on Saturday so the whole family can participate. It is very expensive as the ride bracelet doesn't start until 6PM which is too late for our little ones. I would recommend the Champlain Valley fair over this fair.

We go every year and love this fair! We've found it is less busy during the week than on the weekend. Good number of rides for the younger kids!

A great fair in a beautiful spot. If you have very young children- visit the "infant comfort station"- an air conditioned trailer where you can nurse your baby comfortably, change a diaper (they have supplies), and enjoy some quiet time!

Love this fair! Not too crowded, plenty to do, Maple Sugar house is a must and they offer bracelet times almost every day making it affordable if you have kids who want to do the ride thing! We go every year and have never been disappointed.

Better this year! We'll be going!

Beware! It's a mudfest down there! 3 cars were stuck in the parking field. Wear old shoes and clothes. If you don't have 4-wheel drive, I would re-consider. Rides very expensive too ($2.00-$5.00 EACH), unless you go after 6pm when they have the braclet deal).

This is a wonderful country fair that features just the kind of old-timey tractor pulls and draft horse competitions you's expect to find in a field in Vermont. Nice facilities for the 4-H animal competitions - lots of blue-ribbon qualifiers.
The Maple Sugar house is a great place to get re-energized.
