This academy offers a variety of programs, starting with AMERICAN MIGHTY MITES. This program is geared for children between the ages of 4 and 7. However, each student is evaluated on an individual basis. The program is designed to help improve and nurture each child’s focus and balance with their martial art animal techniques and martial art exercises.

The second program they offer is KIDS KICK, which helps 8 to 12 year olds kick their way into a positive future. This is a dynamic high energy adventure, with endless fun, kicking obstacle courses, the Tae Kwon Do dance which are their “patterns” and their life skills sessions, focusing on issues and problems kids face on a daily basis and how to overcome those obstacles in a positive way.

They pride themselves on a safe, positive environment focused around the Five Tenants of Tae Kwon Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and their personal favorite, Indomitable Spirit. It has been their experience that these Tenants are often overlooked in other programs and in every day life.

They also offer Summer and Day Camps when the kids are out of school, Family Classes, Advanced Belt Classes, Sparring Classes, Cardio Kick-Boxing Classes, Reiki Treatments and Soothing Massage in our HEALING ROOM. Uniforms, gear, nutritional teas and other dietary supplements are available in their pro shop at a discount to their members.

My 8-year-old son has been training at ATKD for nearly four years; my 10-year-old daughter for six months. Both LOVE the studio, the classes, and the instructors. Master Tim Stoll and his wife Kelley bring an amazing level of positivity to the dojang and inspire all the kids to perform their best, be respectful, and notice all the wonderful things in their lives. Plus, the kids learn great self-defense skills. I enjoy Saturday morning family classes with the kids and have even started going to a few adult classes. I've discovered that it's not as easy as it looks! ...more
