My 6 year old son attended the Nature Detective Day Camp last year and had a blast. The setting is beautiful, the counselors great and he made lots of friends. He is already signed up again for this year.
The only issue I have is that the camp hours are 9am to 3:30pm. As a working mom with another kid in daycare, those hours are hard to work into the schedule considering you also have to drive all the way out to Huntington. />
It would be great if they could add optional 'before and after' hours. Other than that, I highly recommend the summer camps!...more

I went to GMAC with my class and we tapped a tree, we collected maple syrup, grabbed a sapiscle, tasted fancy sap, and saw the evaporator in the actual sugar house. It was a great field trip!
