Bristol celebrates the 4th of July with fireworks, a parade, an Outhouse Race, music, vendors, crafts, food, horses, and flags. The Bristol parade is one of the longest-running parades in the Vermont with fire trucks, floats, National Guard units, scouts and marching bands.
July 3rd
6:00 pm activities at the ballpark:
- Food and craft vendors
- Kid's games
- Bingo
- Good Live Music and Plenty Of It! To include Stray Dogs of Vermont.
Dusk: Fireworks
July 4th
- 7:30am 5k Road Race
- 9:00am Great Bristol Outhouse Race call 453-3751 for a list of the entries!
- 10:30am Parade Begins!The parade begins at the corner of Liberty St. and Pleasant St.
- The parade moves up Pleasant/Spring St and turns onto Mountain St. heading toward Main St. The Parade will continue down Main St. to end at the Rec. Field
- 12:00 On the Green:
- Live Music! -Starline Rhythm Boys
- A flyover is anticpated by the Vermont Air National Guard
- Food and craft vendors, pony rides, bouncy house
- 2:00pm Announcement of Car Raffle and Parade Winners
