Great opportunity to stock up on gear for the coming season. Take a buddy and do it tag team style, the lines can be pretty long. There is not as much kids stuff as adult gear so if you can go on Friday, you will have more choices. In years past, I have gotten socks for $5, helmets for under $50, long underwear $15 each, a jacket/snowpants set for under $90 for my daughter. Great deals but...not for the high anxiety stricken! If you don't get there early, the selection is a disaster and picked over and thrown everywhere. There are people everywhere and the selection for kids is scarse. If you don't mind the crowds and sifting threw piles of good deals...this should not be missed!!

The Burton Summer Sale is always spectacle. Plan on waiting in line a minimum of 2 hours no matter when you go. We actually made it to the sale twice this year. Friday morning was a four hour wait when we arrived at 7am and Sunday was an hour and a half when we arrived at 11am. Burton keeps the line as fun as possible, handing out water, sobe drinks, and tickets to the alpine slide in Stowe- if you can answer Burton trivia questions. They...more
