I Love going to the fair every year. When I go we always get our picture done at Scotty's great for a memory keeper. I also love the blooming onion and the fresh squeezed lemonade...the fair is awesome. Just wish they had reasonable prices.

My favorite part of summer is the week of the fair because it is a fun place to take my nieces and nephew to have some fun time with them. And there is much for them all to do there. There are two 4 year olds and a 9 year old and a 2 year old and there is setting for all of them to do rides, games, animals, stuff you can buy in the buildings, great food that you can only get once a year, and then they also have all kinds of different events that go on at the grand stand and then they also have so many shows the kids can watch through the day while you are there. So I think it's a great place for family time....more

We love going to the fair but I wish the prices for the food and the rides were not so steep.

I have gone to this fair every year since i was a small child. It is great fun from the rides, shows, games and the food. The only trouble is it is CRAZY expensive! the admission, rides, games, parking and of course food, you have to save all year to enjoy it. I have found I have to warn my kids ahead of time of what we will be purchasing so as they don't expect any fancy(A.K.A.CHEEP) souvenirs.

The Champlain Valley Fair is a great experience! I have gone every year since I was a small child. The thing I enjoy most about the fair is that not much changes from year to year. It is very comforting to go back year and year and enjoy the same things that you only get to see once a year! The food is to die for, the grounds are well maintained and just a great experience all around! Prices are high but that is to be expected for a fair that happens once a year. To me it is worth it for a once a year treat! ...more

We like the fair and have gone every year but in the past few years service seems to be lacking and fees increasing. It has gotten so expensive, I don't see how anyone with a large family can afford to go. The attractions are nice and the food is good but there are probably better options for those on a budget.

Our family is not a big fan of the CV Fair. The combination of entrance, ride tickets and parking works out to a fairly expensive day. Some of the rides and games are ok, but for the money you can get discount tickets to Great Escape or Canobie Lake. Also, the fair lacks a real Vermont feel to it.
