This is our favorite park for many reasons. First there is a tire swing and that is my kids favorite thing ever. Second the grounds are beautiful and last because of the trails, and tower. Make sure to visit on a weekend so you can see the view from the tower.

Great park for little kids. Brought my 2 and 3 1/2 year old boys. The walk up to the tower was perfect for them. No stroller or backpack needed. They were so excited to go in "castle". Then we strolled down the paved path to the overlook park where they had a snack in the rock pavilion (which they thought was great)! They also really enjoyed the playground where we parked. They had never been on a tire swing. Highly recommend this park....more

If you go during the day, the hike to the top of the tower gives you stunning views of the surrounding area too. Well worth...more

If you start out at the Intervale, you can connect to Ethan Allen Park and make an even longer tour. It's flat, there are lots of loops to choose from and it's very quiet. There is one trail along the river which is particularly gorgeous.
