It’s the most beautiful time of the year in New England, and it’s time once again to celebrate the season at Dog Mountain’s annual Fall Dog Party!

There will be a host of activities for the whole family, from foot-tapping live music by Vermont folk duo The Endorsements, to a bounce house for the kids, door prizes, food, dog contests, and more.

They hope you can take the time to grab your camera, hop in the car, and take the scenic ride to leaf-romping, four-legged fun and smiles at Dog Mountain. Your dogs will thank you with many wags of their tail and wet kisses.

We just started bring our dog to dog mountain. It's a pretty inspiring place. I know both the oweners just passed away and you can read notes to them and just enjoy the great views and fresh vermont hair. It's super easy to find as they have an amazing sign with xl dog craving marking the road.

We went to both the summer dog party and the fall festival with our big yellow lab Baxter. Such a beautiful place nestled in the mountains. To see all the dogs of all ages, shape, and sizes running, playing, swimming, is an inspiration to all humans to learn to get along this well. The chapel is a totally awesome, and if you have ever loved a dog, it's a must see. Baxter, was on his best behavior, it's like he knew this place was special and someone was watching. You can just feel the love this place emanates. The best thing is no one looks at you like you're crazy when you talk/refer to your dog as if he/she were your child... because as far as everyone there is concerned, the dogs are children! We will definitely be returning!...more

Dog Mountain is absolutely terrific! The chapel is wonderful and a great architecture wonder. We were able to spread the ashes of our furry kids on the grounds and we are thankful for Stephen. God Bless Dog Mountain!

This was one of the most amazing events we have attended. Dogs, dogs, dogs, and more dogs. Large ,small, medium, short, tall, thin, chubby. All getting along together.Everyone who is an animal lover that we meet will hear about THE DOG CHAPEL. We think next summer to celebrate Stephen and THE DOG CHAPEL that you should hold a "WOOFSTOCK". A day full of dogs and music would be fantastic. Buddy, Albee, and Mater had a great time playing and visiting with all the other dogs. Terry and Bev...more
