Our daughter has taken several classes here. Last year she participated in the 6/7 after school class. For her, it was too chaotic. There are multiple aged classes going on at once with not a lot of individualized attention. Most of the groups were lead by young (HS or college aged?) girls. It felt intimidating for younger, non-skilled gymnasts.

This is a great place for a birthday party. The staff was amazing with all the kids, they were more then willing to help the kids and had great things for them all to do. They also demonstrated some stuff for the kids at the end of the party..

My 12 month old loved going to open gym. It was a great experience. She enjoyed all the different activities that were available for her to do. There is such a variety to include a tumbling trampoline, foam pit, floor space with hula hoops, balls and other toys, along with low balance beams and different shaped mats for her to meneuver through. We arrived as soon as they opened the doors and stayed until open gym was over. Not once...more

Green Mountain Gymnastics is a great place to bring kids from recreational classes to competitive gymnastics. The staff is courteous and supportive and work to nurture as well as teach kids skills in their classes. 3 of my children have attended GMG and all have had extremely good experiences. The staff will work with you if you have concerns. My children have gained skills for the gym and skills socially and have had their character...more

We recently attended a kids night out at Green Mountain
Gymnastics. My kids love to go and always have a good time, there is always plenty of activities for them to do as well as coaches that help with skills that they want to work on. The space is great, it is large enough to know that the kids will be safe in the environment. It is a great way for me to get out and know that the kids are having a great time.

Both of my kids have been involved with classes and have had great experiences at GMG. They have learned a lot and have had a great deal of support in all of their activities there. The gym is a great community of hardworking girls and guys who are committed to the kids and instill confidence and respect. I would recommend GMG as a great place where kids learn more than just gymnastics.

Recently I took my niece to GMG for an open gym...It was terrible!! The staff were under trained and rude, the facility was dirty, the entire place was not well run. I later tried taking her to Regal Gym and was blown away by the difference in the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. Owners Erika and Tom were extremely welcoming and friendly, and were proud to show us their facility and spent a lot of their time talking of their commitment...more

I was a gymnast in high school so I felt I knew what to expect when I signed my 4 year old up last year (Aug. 2010) for a season of classes. After a few months with a barely-awake instructor who didn't smile or seem enthusiastic with my daughter and the one other child in the 9:00am Sat. class, I asked the owner if she could help. She was very responsive and we saw a slight uptick in the teacher's attitude, but nothing substantial. Then...more

I highly do not recommend this program for preschool aged children.
My daughter attended the 3/4 yo class, the instruction was not age appropriate and expectations not consistently enforced. Put someone in 'time-out' w/out given proper notification. Not monitoring children w/proper teacher:student ratio so when my kid helps someone smaller she gets in trouble. To me this should be about sportsmenship, safety and fun....after switching...more

Does my little guy have fun here? Yes. Does it smell like feet in there? Yes. Did they charge me for my not-yet-crawling infant who spent the whole time in a baby carrier? Yes. Do they clearly tell people that their 10-visit "value" card expires 4 months after purchase? No. Are there better gyms for little people to play in? Yes. Happily we have discovered the far superior option of Regal Gym in Winooski which is cheaper, cleaner, and less...more
