Halloween fun for kids of all ages! Kids can trick-or-treat at most of the buildings and on the walkways in between. This year's theme was "board games" and the museum went all out with life sized versions of Scrabble, Dominoes and Operation. Making it even more realistic, many of the Museum staff were dressed were dressed in costume. We saw Mr. Monopoly and Col. Mustard to name a few. There was even a gigantic game of tic-tac-toe that involved rolling pumpkins down the hill toward the Ticonderoga. The Owl cottage was turned into a very "mild" haunted house that even little kids could enjoy.

Spooktacular event especially if you don't live in a traditional neighborhood where you can easily trick-or-treat. Bring a stroller or wagon though if you have little ones. Things are spread out and it can be a lot of walking....more

This is our second year going and we love it! There is a lot of kids but you are able walk through at your own pace.it is definitely our new family tradition.

We have done this for several years now and it's a must-go for Halloween events in the area. For the little ones, it's great as they can trick or treat during the day time and see all of fantastic costumes you can't quite see during the day. Each year themes are wonderfully thought out...my favorite was the board game year!! Mr. Monopoly broke at the Castleton Jail was funny!!

We have been going to the Shelburne Museum for 4 yrs. My daughter was only 3 months old when we started going. She loves it.

My children love going to this every year. It is a must for the Halloween season.
