Join them for their annual Halloween event, named a Top 10 Fall Event by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. Be creative and dress up in your most playful costumes as you trick-or-treat on the grounds of Shelburne Museum.
This year they are hosting their First Annual Mini Punkin Chunkin, 10 am – 1 pm! What’s a Mini Punkin Chunkin? It’s where brilliant minds put their collective brains together in order to launch pumpkins through the air via a trebuchet (a type of catapult used to launch projectiles – like pumpkins)!

Halloween fun for kids of all ages! Kids can trick-or-treat at most of the buildings and on the walkways in between. We have done this for several years now and it's a must-go for Halloween events in the area. For the little ones, it's great as they can trick or treat during the day time and see all of fantastic costumes you can't quite see during the day. Each year themes are wonderfully thought out...my favorite was the board game year!! Mr. Monopoly broke at the Castleton Jail was funny!!
