Kojo is located in Williston, Vermont and has over 30 years of experience. They have children's programs for ages 4 and up. They offer traditional weapons training, private and group classes, and the latest in state of the art reference materials and equipment.
There are multiple classes offered daily, six days a week. Classes consist of warm-ups, dynamic stretching, basics, combinations, footwork, bagwork, paddle drills, partner exercises, self-defense, static stretching, patterns and meditation.

My son had never practiced tae kwon-do, or any martial arts, before taking his first class at Kojo. Master Barrett is an excellent teacher, as are all of the other instructors there. They made him feel accepted from the moment we walked in and never intimidated. Classes are of varying skill levels and ages which works well for all students. It is a great way to learn from others. KoJo is amazing! I originally enrolled my son for classes, but within weeks my daughter was right beside him because the program is too good not to take part in. It teaches them confidence, self control, discipline, not to mention self defense (which gives me a bit of piece of mind). Master Barrett is firm, but very kind and wonderful with children. My children love Tae Kwon-do and it is because of the program that KoJo offers.
