My mother in law and I bought a gift certificate as a baby shower gift for close family friends. Little Moose didn't have availability when they asked to have them done. This happened a couple of times until surprise, the gc was expired. At that point pictures were never taken, and a refund never offered to the family the gc was bought for or to me, the person that bought it. This photographer needs to go to business school and learn about customer service and business ethics.

I notice most of the negatives on this photographer have been started over the last year. Perhaps she should take the time to refocus her priorities and skills into her current clients and giving better customer service to those clients, especially ones that are looking for availability on gc's they have already purchased or recieved as gifts. I had a falling out with this photographer over a contest she ran, and then wanted to make up rules for as it went. She never offered an apology in public or private after writing something untrue about me on her facebook business page. Her actions made us decide to not obtain her services for our future needs and go with another photographer. She in turn messaged other photographers she heard we might be using to give them a heads up about us? Beyond unprofessional and childish to act like that. She takes some good shots and when you get along with her, things are ok. We used her for 2 years and have some great pictures of our family that she took. That being said, if you require any type of customer service, you won't get it. If you have any problems with her services, you won't have them addressed or fixed. If you complain about her services and lack of customer service, she will try and get you blacklisted from other photographers. Trying to secure a families inability to capture moments of their newborn is beyond low. Luckily, other photographers have a sense of buisiness ethics and morals, and wouldn't deny families something that big and irreplacable over a strangers petty differences with former friends and clients. ...more

Patty has been terrible to work with....or should I say attempt to work with. I was also impressed by her pictures, which is why I decided to get a gift certifcate from her. Unfortunately, Patty was incredibly unresponsive, which is hard to believe for someone who is specializes in Newborn photos. You would think she would understand an newborn isn't a newborn for long. I understand Patty is incredibly busy, good for her and her family. However, I believe when you take someone's money for a service, you are making a commitment to that person. I love patty! Although I have been only been Able to have my sons 1 year pics done ending in a very cute vale smash. I received a gift certificate for this occasion and she emailed me the same day I received it. She let me pick pick the location (my home). Her highest strength is newborn photography but she does such an amazing job with all photography. I highly recommend her.

I watched from afar when a gift certificate I purchased for a family member was refused to be honored. I didn't get involved when weeks would go by before Little Moose would respond to communications attempting to redeem my gift. It's too small an mount of $ to have any real recourse in obtaining a refund that is being refused; however, it's a valuable lesson when considering dealing with this unprofessional, unethical behavior from this business. My family's experience parallels the awful experiences listed below. Poor communication and difficult to work with. I would strongly recommend not working with this person. I find it strange that reviews below attest to how busy she is---I'm not sure how that relates to meeting her obligations.

Great work! I've enjoyed seeing many photos on a friends page and always beautiful and impressive! I also have heard time and again how great she is to work with! I would recommend to anyone looking for local photography for their kids!

Wow---what a horrible experience. We received a thoughtful gift certificate for her services from our family and consistently did not receive responses to e-mails requesting redemption of our gift. Weeks would go by with no response. Ultimately we requested our money back and were told we would receive no service and no compensation. Do not do business with this person.

Patty specializes in newborn photography and photography in general. She does not, specialize in customer service. She is very hard to get ahold of and is overworked. If you have a question - ask face to face because you will not receive a response through e-mail. I will not be recommending her.

Though Patty took wonderful pictures of my kids, I would not recommend her to friends with toddlers. We'd never had pictures taken professionally before and didn't know what to expect. It felt as though Patty would not take a picture until the kids were sitting, looking at her and smiling. There were not many candid shots. Her strength is in photographing newborns.

We LOVE Patty! We get all of our son's pictures done with her. Not only is she really great with kids (and incredibly patient), her talent behind the camera is unbelievable. Every session has been a success with great photos to last a lifetime. I would recommend her highly if you want great images of your family or children. Her prices are great and to be honest, we would've probably paid more for their quality.

She was very accommodating and met us in multiple locations near our home for the session. She also has done photos for my SIL's newborn, which came out beautiful. We plan to keep going back to Patty as long as she'll take us!...more
