Loveworks offers year-round programs for children six weeks old through Pre-Kindergarten. All classes offer excellent loving care along with activities to enhance fine and gross motor skills, language development, learning through discovery, social and emotional skills, and plenty of explore and outside time. The name Loveworks was selected to highlight the love that is experienced when working with young children and to accentuate wanting all children to feel love in their heart and share that love with others. This is emphasized daily through our character development, where children learn about kindness, friendliness, respect, compassion, cooperation, and manners. Children learn to care for each other, including all living elements in nature as well as care of property. At Loveworks Child Care Centers, children will know they are loved and that love with shine from their hearts.

Loveworks was created in 2016 as a new branch of the HeartworksRenaissance, and Endeavor Schools organization. Loveworks is for families looking for full time, year-round quality child care.

Formerly, Leaps and Bounds Childcare.

The teachers/staff at this center have absolutely exceeded my expectations for a daycare. My 2 kiddos started just this past fall, so technically after they had become "Loveworks" (from the previous Leaps and Bounds). I was definitely hesitant at first, given the transition process, remodeling, and a few staff turnovers. I had met with some leaders at another Heartworks facility and this helped me make the decision to enroll my kids here. And I honestly couldn't be more pleased.
Both of my kids have had the same primary teachers since they began (now granted, that's only been about 4-5 months). They are EXCELLENT at communicating with me about how they are doing. They have also gotten to know the teachers of the other age groups, as they all tend to help each other out throughout the course of the day. I believe most (if not all) of the teachers do have some degree in education. I have met a few extra helpers here and there, but their main teachers have stayed the same. They have a set time for projects/lessons, but also have time allotted for free play. My daughter has adjusted to daycare really well, and comes home on a daily basis teaching me the new songs she has learned, telling me about what they did outside, or showing me an art project she made. She has clearly learned new skills there (since I haven't taught her some of those things yet!). My son definitely has had a more difficult time separating from me, but those first few weeks (and since), the staff has been fabulous about communicating with me about his progress. Though he still has a hard time separating from me, I have no doubt in my mind that he absolutely loves it there and is always happily playing or dancing when I come to pick him up. Above all else, what I value the most is how the staff seem to genuinely love my kids.

My child was at this facility since 3 months old up until 2 and from the beginning I was never super happy with the childcare but due to being on a pretty strict budget I tried to make it work. As said above, the staff that are recruited to watch the children have no actual childhood education or background and have trouble handling any situations that aren't 'easy'. My child is a vivacious, happy fun-loving individual with a TON of energy and in the small space with many kids and lack of physical activity he struggled handling the energy in a positive way sometimes (as all 2 year old's do), once this became apparent LoveWorks/Leaps and Bounds checked out with my son, wrote him off as a problem child and essentially told me he had 'issues'. I tried to be understanding and work with the staff even going in for meetings and calling daily to check in on him- each call would lead to me directing these inexperienced teachers on how to handle different scenarios with a 2 year old. I took my son to his DR multiple times and even brought a letter that the director Emily Fitzpatrick wrote herself noting all the 'crazy, terrible' behavior he was doing- the DR stated this is all NORMAL/DEVELOPMENTAL behavior - they had no concerns. 2 days after my son's doctor's appointment they told me I needed to pick him up and that they were 'terminating the contract' with absolutely no warning. Aside from that being possibly illegal, my problems with this 'daycare center' were long before that situation. My son would come home with food all over his face, dried buggers all over his cheeks. I have witnessed staff sitting on the floor while kids play across the room by themselves and staff turnover is still very high- every couple weeks there are new people in the building that I do not know and was not made aware of. If a child is struggling or acting out, that means that one of his or her needs isn't being met- and LoveWorks/Leaps and Bounds fails to take any responsibility in that -
I would not recommend you sending a dog here let alone your child.

I love Leaps and Bounds, now part of Heartworks on Williston Rd. My daughter has been attending the daycare since April 2015. My little one is always so excited to see her teachers and friends. I've have gotten to know some of the other parents who bring their children to the center. It feels like a little family there. Miss Meghan, Mrs. Tia, Mrs. Barbara (Barbie) and Mrs. Emilee are all amazing. Every Holiday they invite parents to help celebrate in their event and my daughter is always coming home with cute projects based on early education. Now that they are a part of Heartworks, they are ACT 166 approved and the teachers now have benefits and pay raises which is important to minimize turnover of staff. They have just put in a new playground and walk in entry to their building. I'm thoroughly pleased with the ladies at Leaps and Bounds Williston Rd. And wouldn't even consider switching my daughter. Great job ladies!! 😊...more

We pulled our child our of L&B Williston Road because we were concerned with the massive turnover rate of not only the students/children but also the staff. In 12 months our child had over 8 different providers. often times we would not even know the name of the person caring for our kid. Although everyone is indeed very pleasant, the director is a bit stubborn and handles everything HER way without much interest in listening to others or to her clients. We switched providers and although L&B was more affordable, we could not be HAPPIER with our switch. We wanted better than mediocre for our child....more

Must improved since Nicole has taken over as director at this center. Nicole, as well as all of the teachers, have improved the communication, one of my biggest concerns with this center. Progress journals are sent home weekly, notices of upcoming events are posted, even the white board of daily activities has been more detailed. My son seems to really love it there, and ultimately that is the biggest win for me!
Keep it up ladies!

My son has been attending that daycare (L&B on williston rd) for more than 2 years and he is happy the morning for the drop-off or at night when we pick him up. I know that my son is safe and sound.

The providers take the time to answer my questions and address my concerns. The journal is also filled-up once a week which is a great way to see if your kid is improving as far as learning and what is his behavior at the daycare. />
I am really happy also that Nicole Bielsa is the new director, she is really organized and let parents know in advance for special days at the daycare (bike day, truck day,...). She is also a great teacher ! I would like also to thank the other care givers such as Logan, Sydney, Nikki, April, ... and the former one Jess, Amanda, Nick, and Trish (former director).

Keep going with the great job !

Not even rated that is how bad it is. The owner Renae Desautels goes outside in the play yard and yells and screams at the kids and staff. We hear her all the time. As for the last poster regarding spraying the kids in the face with a hose, this is nothing less then abuse. The staff yell at the kids all the time and they should be reported to the police. They were reported one time we know of to the police and also should be reported to the State. They were reported for something the staff was not doing. It's true all they are there for is the money. She is nothing but nasty and acts like she is some kind of wonderful person. Well she isn't. Stay clear of all Leaps and Bounds daycares. Do not know how they stay in business. Very high turn over as well. ...more

I agree 100% with the first poster. I would not recommend this provider to anyone. The site is dirty, my son comes home with his lunch still all over his face, and is completely filthy. I feel there is a lack of supervision, and caring for the children. It feels like the staff are there only for their paychecks. The staff come and go often with no explanation or introduction to the new teacher.

Staff are also short tempered with the children and I have observed them yelling and even yanking on a young child's arm. I observed one teacher spraying a group of 1-2 year olds in the face with a hose. One child was crying and not one teach showed any sort of compassion, or even spoke to the child.

Numerous times I have seen children crying on the play ground and not one teach noticed. I waited one time to see if they would do anything, and finale said something to one of the teachers, who just yelled to the child, "what happen?"

Days are chaotic and with no routine, or rhythm to their days. And while my child has not been seriously harmed or injured at this location, if you want your child in a space that is warm, friendly, professional and knows what they are doing this is not the provider for your family.

Leaps and Bounds was the worst experience. They expect you to follow the hand book, however they do not follow handbook procedures or state regulations themselves. I often was nervous about my child's day at school, due to neglect and uneducated administration and teachers.
Teachers do not seem to care about there jobs. The Director is defense and condescending. She regurgitates the handbook and does not allow parents to address concerns regarding children, teachers or policies.
After going to daycare I realize how awful of a childcare facility Leaps and Bounds is. It is dirty, staff is rude and some policies are foolish. Not a warm community.
I would never recommend this place.

My child has been at leaps and bounds on williston rd for over a year and we really like the place for a number of reasons.

First of all my son is safe and happy almost everyday when I pick him up. If for any reason he isn't, they tell me how the day went and everything that happened.

They take the time to personally address any issues and questions I have. Its a smaller group of kids so my son can get the attention he deserves.

Everyone seems happy and positive, my son is very playful and wants to learn which is how I want to raise him. The employees communicate well with him and ask advice if he's out of control.

In the end its the employees who have impressed me they all are friendly, professional, and genuine. I couldn't be happier with our experience here which is why i decided to write this, and i hope others can find a good place for their child's future.
