SUMMER CAMP
Does your child need more exercise? Not motivated by team sports? This camp is open to kids age 5 to 13, and provides a fun, action-filled alternative. This is one of our most popular and successful events. Kids have fun, get great exercise, and learn a lot. Camp is a great way for a beginner to get an introduction to the martial arts, or for an experienced student to enhance his or her abilities and enthusiasm. Experienced martial arts students typically come out of camp week with renewed confidence, energy, and motivation. Beginners come away with an exciting new hobby. Camps are $150/wk.
The camp schedule for 2010 is as follows:
- February 22nd to 26th
- April 26th to 30th
- June 21st to 25th
- June 28th to July 2nd
- July 12th to 16th
- July 26h to 30th
- August 9th to 13th
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Birthday Parties are usually held on Saturday afternoons at 1:00 PM. They can accommodate up to twenty children but recommend eight to twelve. They entertain the group with a fun, informal martial arts class with the birthday child as the "star" participant, for an hour. While this is going on, parents can set up food and gifts to be enjoyed here at the school, or back at home after the class. They send out the invitations and give a gift of a Martial Way T-shirt. They have a small table and some chairs and benches. Parents provide refreshments, gifts, and party favors if desired.

My daughter started at Martial Way in September 2009. She enjoys the classes, the instructors, and works hard to earn her next stripe or belt. I enjoy the structure, instructors, and discipline/patient that is taught.
The kids are encouraged to do their best, not miss classes, and listen. Highlights - love the fun games they play in the last part of the class, plus my daughter had her birthday party here and it was great!

My boys (ages 4 and 5) have been taking martial arts classes at Martial Way for about six months now and absolutely love it! My 5 year old enjoys the class so much we decided to have his birthday party at Martial Way – it was a HUGE success!
The instructor(s) are very patient and attentive to the children in this high-energy class and provoke much laughter and fun. The class size is small and is structured so the children...more

I am a middle school teacher whose students have been involved in a variety of martial arts programs offered through Martial Way for many years. I can say with complete confidence that my students have benefited from their martial arts experiences in many ways.
I have witnessed my students grow in self-esteem, develop a positive work ethic, and leave with an I-can-really-do-it attitude...and it's been fun! My own son enjoyed...more

Our family has been really happy with our son's experience at the Martial Way in Milton. The instructors are very patient and calming, very respectful of the children in teaching the techniques and in describing the scenarios in which one might use them. The class is a good workout for our high-energy ten year old, and pushes him to do his best. We've seen an increase in his self-confidence, and we like that he is working towards a personal...more

My son started at the Martial Way Self Defense Center when he was 7 years old and will continue to train even as he starts college this Fall. The Martial Way remains an important and rewarding part of his life.
He said recently, "One of the good things about going to a local college, I can still train at the Martial Way"
It continues to be a great experience for both of us.

My 4 1/2 year old son has recently started at Martial Way and it's been great discipline for him. I can see him focus when he's there and while he hasn't quite figured out the coordination yet of all the moves, he loves the environment and instructor. They are very patient with the kids!
My only complaint would be that there isn't enough one-on-one time spent when taking the class, so I'm afraid he's not learning how to correctly...more
