We have been going to Mayfest at lcws for 9 years tomorrow It is my most FAVORITE event of the whole year! The most joyful celebration welcoming spring. The activities are always wonderful and perfectly inspiring for my little ones. Even my eldest at eleven years still enjoys coming to help and play with the little ones. He's very excited for the jump rope making this year! Thank you to everyone at Lake Champlain Waldorf School for giving us a very magical tradition!...more

My child and I both get overwhelmed at large kids events. They're too loud, crowded, and there's just too much going on. That's why I love MayFest. It's appropriate and fun for kids with activities and pony rides but it isn't loud or crazy. We can easily spend 4 hours there and go home happy. I strongly recommend it for a really sweet day with your littles.

We love this event. Sweet activities, pony rides, and maypole dancing. My daughters loved the fairy crowns and face paint. We have been two years in a row and will go again!

We were excited to check this out but ended up being a little disappointed. Most of the activities were DIY (including the face painting), there wasn't any music as advertised and the food was hot dogs, which is one of the last things I'd expect to see at a Waldorf school. I also thought the ladies manning the main check-in table weren't very friendly. :/

All that being said, the location was lovely and the pony rides were fun. There were also baby chicks indoors that all the kids enjoyed visiting. Many of the kids also had fun grinding corn - who would have thought that'd be such a popular activity!...more

This is a fantastic event. The activities were perfect for my preschooler, and everyone was so friendly! I loved that there wasn't any load music blaring from speakers. There were students playing fiddles and a cello. Food was great and totally kid friendly. What a beautiful campus. If only other events for children were as really designed with the child in mind.
