Plan ahead, as portions of these roads will be closed to traffic from approximately 10:30 am - 1 pm. Please do not park at the High School.
Awards for parade participants will be announced on the City Green at the end of the parade. Following the awards ceremony, a chicken BBQ will be held at the American Legion Post 14.

Get to this parade early. They close off the entrances to Vergennes from Rte 7. We were left to park at the Chevy dealership at the corner of Rte. 7 and Monkton Rd and walk in to town. Folks with little ones might bring a stroller or wagon for just this reason. We didn't make it to the green, but sat in front of the HS which proved to be just fine as this is the starting point for the parade.

This is a great family parade. A lot of tractors and good old fashioned parade fun!

This parade is amazing, if you go to the City green they announce the parade from a platform and the announcer knows everyone! Y0u can come into Vergennes from many different areas, but you should come early. The American Legion Post #14 sponsors the parade and they host an amazing chicken BBQ after all the festivities in the park!
