North Beach is located on the shore of Lake Champlain next to the Burlington Bike Path. Amenities include a large sandy beach, grassy picnic area with grills and picnic tables, a full service snack bar open daily 11am-6pm, rest rooms and foot showers. Lifeguard on duty to August 22nd and weekends until Labor Day.
North Beach Picnic Pavillion can accomodate groups of up to 70-80 for parties, barbeques and meetings.
Umiak Outdoor Outfitter rents canoes and kayaks by the hour, half- or full-day from 11am-6pm mid-June until Labor Day, weather permitting. Rentals start at $12. Umiak is set up on the south end of North Beach and also offers a variety of kayaking classes and expeditions for youth & adults.
The campground has restrooms, showers, 29 full hook-ups, 39 electric and water hook-ups, and 69 tent sites. Tent and RV sites are available May through mid-October. Call 802-862-0942 for details and reservations.
North Beach has a beach wheelchair available for use by the public - inquire about availability at the lifeguard station.
Open: May 26 through Labor Day: Lifeguard coverage June 24-August 22 and weekends up until Labor Day depending upon weather.

We spent a day with the family and friends on the beach. Great fun and tons to do. Can't wait to go back!! A nice SANDY beach, a fun playground, food service at the snack bar or they have grills for the bring your own type. Lifeguards on duty. Ample parking. Fee to enter the park is $6.

We went to North Beach with our young children and friends and had a great time. The beach is perfect for young and old, having a nice sandy bottom and fairly shallow depth until well out. Convenient snack bar and decent bathrooms with changing areas. Nice picnic areas and a playground for the little ones. Perfect for the family on a sunny day. I kayaked thru Umiak at North Beach with my two kids, ages 7 & 8. We rented one tandem for 4 hrs and had a great time paddling around. Very good service - courteous and flexible. It's a great & convenient set-up, with rentals right on the water, therefore fast and easy to get the boats and vests and get into the water. Plenty of cool stuff to explore on Lake Champlain, especially the shoreline to the north... paddle around the point to find...more
