A traditional summer camp for boys and girls ages 8-15. Family owned and run, the camp provides a supportive and safe community environment that allows them to express themselves and rise to the challenges of outdoor adventure.
Activities include canoeing, sailing and kayaking on a private waterfront; and hiking, field sports, arts, crafts, woodworking and photography.
2008 Season Dates: June 29 through August 19 (Visiting Day is August 2nd).

As a former counselor (many moons ago), I've remained in close contact with the camp. I look forward to my own daughter attending in a few years.
The camp is a "real camp" (read bias) - meaning there are no video games or movie nights. The camp focuses on developing outdoor/adventure skills and applying them over a 5-8 week season. Many older kids actually become 46ers (hiked all 46 Adirondack high peaks) - which is quite...more
