Located next to the Essex, NY Ferry, the Old Dock House has plenty of outdoor seating and a few slips to your boat up to. They have sandbox that looks like a tugboat so there is plenty of activity for the kids. Food is traditional pub fare. Kids meal choices include pasta, pizza, burgers, chicken fingers.

Convenience and the view is what you are going for here and nothing more. If you are taking the ferry to/from Charlotte the restaurant is right there. Or if you have spent the day on the lake it couldn't be any easier to pull up the boat up and grab a bite to eat. The view is definitely stunning. But we found the adult meals to be expensive and the service really slow.

The best view, great food and service. I have been coming to the dock house for years and have never been disappointed. If it is busy the service can be slow but well worth it. It is a small place for the amount of people they serve so it makes sense. The fish and chips are amazing and the staff has always been very friendly and attentive to my wife and I. :) I will be returning next summer and I can't wait!
