My children have been attending the Heartworks & Renaissance schools since they were 3 years old -- they are now in second and fourth grades. Our original plan was to send them to public school beginning with kindergarten, but we found the quality of the education and the supportive and respectful atmosphere of the school to be so outstanding, we couldn't make the switch. The Renaissance School provides an outstanding academic education, enabled largely by small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and a focus on individualized learning. We are so excited that our fourth grader will be with a teacher who was one of few teachers from around the world selected to participate in a NASA summer program for educators with an interest in science and math! The school is located on Shelburne Farms, and children benefit from the on-site Farm educators, so the surrounding environment could not be better. The Renaissance School provides more than half of its students with financial assistance, and the tuition is comparable to other local private schools and way below market for comparable schools in New England....more

While the teachers are dedicate at this school (1-7), the management is conflicting and unsupportive to its teachers and parents. While education is critical, money is the main interest here and it transcends all.
