Great beach park! The bummer is that if you aren't a Shelburne Resident, the only time to enjoy it is pre/post season. We have packed a picnic many times in May and enjoyed a full day of fun here with a group of friends.

There is a large expanse of grass (with shady areas) to spread out and play. Bring a ball. We bring buckets and trucks for the rocks on the playground or in the sand on the volleyball court. The beach is down a few steps. It is rocky but shallow and kids can just wade in and out. I always bring a change of clothes and some towels even if we aren't planning a swim.

It is my understanding they have also acquired a new toddler play structure too.

I love this beach. It has a great playground area and it's very clean. I like too that it is smaller then a lot of beaches in the area. The life guards are awesome!

We are in love with Shelburne Beach. As a Shelburne resident, it is a treasure to have! The toddler structure is perfect for my little guy and a bigger structure right near by for my preschooler. It doesn't get much better than that. The beach is beautiful. A really lovely place to go with the family.

This is a GREAT park, but you do have to pay to get in. The climbing structures are great, it's clean and there are rarely other folks there. The beach is clean, sandy and beautiful. Shelburne is lucky to have it!

My only complaint, as others said, is that you must be a Shelburne resident. This beach/park is the best around. With a playground, small beachfront and restroom facilities, this beach is ideal for families.

For Shelburne residents, or if you have friends who live there that you can join, this park is just the best. It offers a playground, expanse of grass for frisbee or ball games, tag, and chase - plus the beach, with plenty of skipping stones and sandy areas to play for your little people. There are plenty of picnic tables and grilling stations, and during open season the bathrooms are key. This beach and park is such a treasure - pick up some food or make it at home, and enjoy an entire day, afternoon, and evening here. Chances are, your kids will run into a playmate or make a new one while you're there, making it a place where parents can relax a bit while their children play happily doing a variety of different things....more
