The Snowflake Festival is 2 weeks (February 12-28, 2010) of family fun and activities in and around Lyndon, VT. Activities held by Lyndon Outing Club, Burke Mountain, Lyndon Chamber, Cobleigh Public Library, Fenton Chester Ice Arena, Lyndon SnoCruisers and many others. Saturday, February 13th
7:00-11:00 Pancake Breakfast at United Methodist Church, Church St. Lyndonville
10:30 - Lyndon SnoCruisers-NEK Drag Race. Route 114N, Lyndonville.
10:00-1:00 - Craft-making at the Village Kids Boutique. Kids can choose from a wooden butterfly or treasure chest, teddy bear or piggy bank, princess tiara, bookmarks and other choices.
12:00-4:00 - Ski and Ride at Lyndon Outing Club.
4:00-6:00 - 2nd Annual Chowdah Fest at Lyndon Outing Club.
6:00-9:00- Listen to area fiddlers by the cozy fireplace at the Outing Club and also enjoy skiing and riding under the lights!
8:00 - Burke Mountain Music Series presents “Starline Rhythm Boys” at the Bear Den Lounge (age 21+)
5:00-8:00 - BINGO! At the Darling Inn.
Sunday, February 14th
10:00-2:00 - Valentine’s Day Brunch Buffet at the Tamarack Grill.
12:00-4:00- “Don Beattie Day” at Lyndon Outing Club. The Beattie family is sponsoring FREE skiing for everyone! Bring memorabilia and old photos to share. Fireside Photos with your Sweetheart are available in the lodge.
5:00-8:00 - Burke Mountain: Carter Country Sledding Hill - ages 5 and up. $5 per person. Helmet rentals $5. Participants may use their own sled and helmet.
