Kids play ‘farmer’ at Shelburne Farms
Big tractors, little tractors, trucks, and many other farm machines that capture the imagination of kids will be in the Courtyard of the Farm Barn at Shelburne Farms for the annual Terrific Tractors (and other cool farm machines) day.
Terrific Tractors will feature farm machinery, from John Deere Tractors to the trucks they use at Shelburne Farms, as well as some other fun machines like Gators and maybe even the road grader. There will be some antique farm machines too and the Town of Shelburne will bring some of their big trucks. All for kids to climb on and pretend to be the farmer for the day.
Shelburne Farms is a 1,400 acre working farm, environmental education center and National Historic Landmark. The mission of Shelburne Farms is to cultivate a conservation ethic by teaching and demonstrating the stewardship of natural and agricultural resources.
