A chef-owned American Bistro, nationally acclaimed for their seasonal Vermont cuisine and award-winning wine list. Located in a charming, 18th-century brick building once owned by Thomas Chittenden, our first Governor. Though you may think this is "Vermont fine-dining" with its white table linens, The Kitchen Table Bistro welcomes kids and has activity handouts and booster chairs.
Open Tues-Sat from 5:00-8:30PM. Reservations recommended.
The Kitchen Table Bistro is actively involved with the Vermont Fresh Network, focusing on buying and supporting as many local farms and businesses as possible. They change their menu often to reflect the amazing season changes in Vermont. The atmosphere is calming and inviting, allowing diners to relax and enjoy the food, the wine and the experience.

The Kitchen Table is our home away from home, but they never make us do the dishes! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is consistently delicious. We are comfortable taking our entire family, including small children, and have even had a large family party, which was wonderful, in the upstairs room. The staff caters to the customers, even the smallest ones, and goes out of their way to see that everyone is happy....more

Absolutely by far my husband's and my FAVORITE restaurant! The owners are so creative with their menu and are so talented. We go every year for Valentines Day where they have the best menu available and makes the evening so special! We love how they are committed to using fresh ingredients from our local farmers! Can't wait to go again this year and see what is on the menu!
