The University of Vermont offers its 34th annual UVM Baseball School. Fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, sliding, catching, throwing, as well as game experience will be emphasized. All campers will be shown any aspects of the game of baseball, such as scoring, strategies, training, and the rules of the sport. Each participant will receive a UVM Baseball School shirt, with other prizes awarded for special recognition in many different areas. Each day will be spent with the best coaching staff in Vermont, in a controlled game situation, giving hands on instruction. Insurance coverage for accidents and sickness must be assumed by the camper’s family policy. The baseball school will provide all equipment except for shoes and gloves.

This camp hits it out of the park. Whether you have the next MLB star in the making or just a kid who loves baseball, the sheer thrill of playing on Centennial Field is enough to give this camp two thumbs up. Our son had to go to a Lake Monsters game the very first night of camp just to see a "real ball player" on the same field where he had been practicing earlier that day.
