ECHO Camps occupy that powerful place where passion for science and compassion for the earth meet to create an explosively-rich environment of excitement and learning. We believe that science is fun and that kids who love science, nature, and making things are the most awesome kids around. To some outsiders, it might seem that ECHO camps are just an excuse for our staff to hang out with the most interesting children in the Northeast, but insiders know that ECHO camps are a transformative experience that combine inquiry, creativity, and guided discovery to produce one of the most engaging camp experiences in Vermont.

My sons attended the frog camp over April vacation. They had a great time - and came home exhausted. My older son (8 yo) said, "This was a good camp for kids who like science and if they like to have fun." I'd say that's a pretty good endorsement. The highlight of the two days was Monday afternoon (at the aftercare portion) where they got to throw mud off the roof and try to hit a target. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. It was well organized. We'll be back!...more

My son enjoyed both days of camp: Smash and Shatter, and Blow it Up. He talked extensively about both for days after. He was very proud to show us the items he brought home that he made. Both days were very positive.

My son attended the Smash & Shatter and Blow It Up camps in February 2013 and LOVED them both. He is still talking about it two months later! Science = fun! These camps were pricey but worth the experience.
