Wow! What a treasure trove of beautiful and unique toys, books, costumes and clothing found around every corner of this store. They even have one whole room dedicated just to princesses! Perfect for Fairy tale damsels and flower girls, you will find fluffy tulle skirts, wands, princess books, satin cupcake jewelry boxes, unicorns and more. Around the store I spied brands like Plan Toys, HABA, Little Miss-Matched, Lego, Playmobil, Radio Flyer, etc. In another room there is a whole section dedicated to wooden play food -- enough to fill a small supermarket. I would highly recommend a pit stop and some child's play at Jamie Two-Coats'.

I bought a "Skip-Hop" backpack from this store in September and at the end of November it was already showing signs of cheap really poor craftsmanship. Instead of contacting the store, I contacted Skip Hop...they asked me to send pictures of the broken zipper and handle and a picture of the tag to ensure it was authentic. Long story short, it was NOT authentic, which means the owner is buying fake "Skip Hop" for VERY cheap and charging MORE (26$) than what other businesses retail them at.
I called to question the owner about it today, told her of my situation and then she told me to bring it in to be replaced (by another fake "Skip-Hop" bag) or for a refund. She hurried me off the phone saying she was "too busy." She never confronted the fact that she has been buying products to INTENTIONALLY mislead customers
Very sad and disappointing considering how much she charges for fake items...won't be shopping here EVER again.

I love this special store. It is certainly on the pricey side, but not everything there will break the bank. It reminds me of the old fashioned toy stores as it is stuffed to the gills with amazing and wonderful things that will fascinate children. This is a selection you will be hard-pressed to find anywhere else - special, beautiful, and unusual toys, along with some classic favorites. The shop owners are very nice and very helpful as well. ...more
