Vermont’s largest Memorial Day parade is hosted by American Legion Post 14. The theme this year is "Service, Honor, Sacrifice." The parade starts at Vergennes Union High School at 11 am, and winds its way through the streets of Vergennes until it finishes at the City Green around 1 pm. Parade steps off and leaves gate F of the Champlain Valley Exposition, follows access road to Rte 2A and turns right onto Rte 2A South (Lincoln St), follows Rte 2A south to the Essex Junction 5 corners (where reviewing stand is). This parade begins at Porter Field off of South Street in Middlebury. From Rte 7, follow the signs toward the hospital onto South St. Porter Field is on the right (look for the football field). it finishes at monument across from the intersection of Rte. 7 and Washington Street.

Several marching bands and bagpipers as well as floats and marcher.  This parade is early as many head to Vergennes afterwards.
